Weihenstephaner

Almost a thousand years ago, the Weihenstephan Bavarian State Brewery was a Benedictine monastery brewery. Today, the Royal Bavarian State Brewery operates as a state-owned enterprise under the control of the Bavarian government.
As the oldest still existing brewery in the world, it is located on the Weihenstephan hill, surrounded by the relatively young scientific center Weihenstephan of the Technical University in Munich, where a unique tradition and brewing culture has developed over the centuries. Corbinian's successors today use the most modern technology, but they never forget their own history and their own high standards. This allows them to produce a variety of beers of the highest possible quality.

Brewing is their craft, and it has been for almost 1000 years. Of course, modern technology has also arrived in brewing, but the basic process of beer production has remained unchanged. In Weihenstephan, it is not enough to produce a good beer, it must be an outstanding beer of consistently high quality. Therefore, they have set themselves the highest quality standard: Premium Bavaricum.
This principle, in addition to requiring the constant concentration of the brewmasters, also guarantees that all components for beer production are subject to constant quality control.
Every day they have 300 hands working on just that. From the brewmaster to the storage facility worker to secretary, they are all there to ensure that only quality that meets their standards leaves their home. And you can taste it in every sip!
